If you are more voluptuous then others it can be difficult to choose the right clothes. To help you being a voluptuous fashionista, here a number of tips.

Accentuate your good sides
Take care that your clothing do not accentuates your bad sides. It doesn’t matter if you have a tummy or a nice behind. Just make sure that you accentuate your good sides! So if you have a spectacular décollete? Show it! Tip: dark colors hide depressed areas, while fierce colors pull the attention.

Wear clothes that make you longer
Wear V-neck tops, monochrome colors and pants without any out hanging pockets. Forget about wearing your sneakers for a while and wear your high heels once in a while.

Don’t fool yourself

Many of us take too much notice on what is said on the clothing label. Just let it go and buy clothes that fit your body and your style! It’s far better to buy clothes that fit you well then (for example to) buy clothes that are too small because size 44 sounds better then size 46. I know, but don’t fall into the trap. Don’t wear any loose hanging (and) big clothes; it doesn’t work. This will make you body look even bigger!

Use accessoires
Great accessories distract the attention and emphasize your personal style. But be careful; don’t overdo it! Too much isn’t the way to go. It might distract the attention but in a wrong way!

Wear  a good Bra

Actually this is a tip for every women. A good bra is essential. Did you know that 75 percent of all women wear a wrong size bra?! It isn’t a pretty sight when a bra cuts into your body and creates extra rolls. Measure yourself of have it done in a specialist store. It really matters.

For all the more voluptuous ladies; I’ll hope you like these tips and remember: When you choose the right clothes, you can be as fashionable as your slimmer friends!!

  1. Plus Size Briefs Says:

I feel it is a very valuable advice for plus size women / ladies. I came across many who wear 46 in place of 44, ultimately spoiling their very look. On that count, your advice on smaller dresses is excellent.
