5 hottest musthaves this summer!

Posted on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 6:51 am

The summer is begun great and the temperatures are also not to complain about. You prefer to sit the whole day in your bikini at the water under an enjoyment of a delicious cool drink or an ice-cream. But, if you decide to go out, to a birthday party, the store/shopping centre or to a terrace in the city, be sure to look trendy this summer!

That is why I have put the hottest fashion trends of this summer on a row!

1. Nostalgic white
White is undoubtedly the ultimate summer color. On the catwalk the designers went massive for white with nostalgic details. Like crochet and string-work, broderie and rouches. (back to grandmothers time.)

2. Colorful printmix
Dare to be spectacular. Besides white there are plenty of fruity colors this summer. Also preferred this summer are shirts, coats and dresses with prints. If it’s an abstract pattern or cheerful flower print, that doesn’t matter.

3. Wedges

It seems that the wedge make its entrance again in fashion world. The colors are mostly brown tint and pastel, and the material of the wedge and the sole are of wood or cork. The inexperienced high-heel-wearer can have no more excuses this season for not to walk on it, because the shoes are supply with a thick platform sole/shoe this time and are fairly stable.

4. Full colour accessoires
Also here we see bright/spectacular colors. Broad bright colored bracelets are an absolute musthave for the summer.
Be aware, because to much accessories isn’t good either. Examples that add some extra color to this season are cobalt bleu, fuchsia pink and lime green.

5. Harem pants
I find him terrible, others love it, but the harem pants is the must-have of spring and summer 2009. It’s an around the hips loose(fitting) pants, often with a low cross, and tapered at the calf or ankle. Because of this you get a so-called hour-glass figure. This looks best when you wear a not to wide top on top of it, that you can stuck into your pants. And ALWAYS wear heels underneath your harem pants!!

The new mini skirt

Posted on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 3:41 am

The short is the new mini skirt. You can wear it to a party, but also to a dinner!

The most beloved (favourite) model for this summer is super short, but what strikes are the waist. The most shorts namely have a high waist. Then you can wear them quite good with a large belt.

You can wear the shorts by day with a shirt above it, sunglasses on your nose (or in your hair) and a few flip-flops at your feet.
And in the evening you wear the shorts with a sexy top and a couple of beautiful stiletto’s underneath. You will look shiny and trendy during that evening.

Be inspired through a few celebs or create your own look.

Below you see a look that I personally find VERY beautiful.

GRANDKIDs, GOD’S BLESSING FOR NOT KILLING YOUR KIDS

Today I recieved this joke by mail, I thought it would be nice to share it with you!

GRANDKIDs, GOD’S BLESSING FOR NOT KILLING YOUR KIDS.

A woman in a grocery store happens upon a grandfather and his poorly behaved 3 year-old grandson.
It’s obvious to her that Gramps has his hands full with the child screaming for candy in the candy aisle,
cookies in the cookie aisle; same for fruit, cereal and soda in their respective aisles.

Meanwhile, Gramps is working his way around, saying in a controlled voice,

"Easy, Albert, we won’t be long — easy, boy."

Another outburst, and she hears Gramps calmly say,

"It’s okay, Albert, just a couple more minutes and we’ll be out of here. Hang in there, boy."

At the checkout, the little terror is throwing items out of the cart, and Gramps again in a controlled voice says,

"Albert, Albert, relax buddy, don’t get upset. We’ll be home in five minutes; stay cool, Albert."

Very impressed, the woman goes outside where Gramps is loading his groceries and the boy into the car.

"You know, sir, it’s none of my business, but you were amazing in there.
I don’t know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive your grandson got,  you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. Albert is very lucky to have you as his Grandpa."

"Thanks, lady," said Gramps, "I’m Albert — this little bastard’s name is Steve."
